Supervisor of Campaign Volunteers

Responsibilities and Duties

The supervisor will manage a team of 5-8 people who will sporadically during the months of June through December be:

  • Phone companies to gather updated data: number of employees, CEO name, mailing address. 
  • Labeling, and stuffing campaign bags with campaign materials
  • Stuffing and mailing campaign letters
  • Updating mailing lists
  • Deliver letters for signing and pick up once they are signed

 

The supervisor will need to be flexible as the start of projects is contingent upon a series of procedures to be completed before the volunteers can begin their task.

 

The supervisor will oversee scheduling, training the volunteers and most importantly assuring that the simplest task is done correctly and accurately.

 

The supervisor will ensure that the work environment is safe, clean and most importantly has an environment of fun and appreciation.  

Time:  Flexible but must be available from June 1 through December 20th

 

Anticipated time commitment:  80 hours but is contingent on the number of volunteers working on a project.  The more volunteers, the less hours required to complete the task. 

 

The supervisor will work closely with Pamela Reading-Smith, Director of Campaign/Development
